First on the agenda was the carousel. She is so amazing. She loves the carousel at the mall, which has a safety strap on it. I put her on the horse and she immediately looked down for the strap, but, alas, NO SAFETY STRAP!!! Have no fear, Mommy is here to hang onto you!
Here are Dallas, Camden and Slade riding right in front of us.
Next up was the Super Slide. Papaw took one for the team and trekked up those stairs with a 28 lb baby on his hip. Gotta love him!!! Bella is not too sure about slides. She loves a swing, but a slide??? Not so much!
Dallas and Slade, however, loved the slide. Check out the smiles on those faces!
Camden had fun in the fun house!!! Good thing his mom went with him, because he didn't know which way to walk because "them stairs was mooovin!!!"
While Dallas and Camden were lost in the fun house, Bella and Slade were beating the heat...Bella with her ba-ba and Slade with his sippy.
Next were the helicopters and spaceships. This was the one where I was having some serious apprehension about. Turns out I actually have a decent mother's intuition. I asked Dallas "why do I feel the need to run around underneath them?" That question was soon answered when the ride began and started lifting the kids in the air (and over my head) and Miss Thang decided she was a big girl and wanted to ride standing up. I believe I had my first coronary!!! As I was about to scale the fence because the ride attendant was blocking the gate I was told (by him) "Now Momma she is fine. If she stands up more then I will bring them down". And how many kids do you have, Mr. Man???? That 's the only one I've got and I don't feel like another trip to the E.R. Get outta my way!!! Momma's on the case! After some serious shouting to my beautiful daughter, she decided Momma was serious and she better sit her big ole bubble butt down!
Momma: Oh, well now, Bella you only nearly gave your doting mother a heart attack!!! Don't ever do that again!
Bella: Does my sweet and innocent look make it better, Momma???
Woo hoo!!! Off to the jeeps! My kid loves a steering wheel. It doesn't matter if it's attached to anything or not. She loves to "drive". A future NASCAR racer???
Hey, Slade, this is kinda cool. You diggin' this?
We had a great time at the fair. As you can tell, it's the best thing to get a one year old to take a nap. We were almost home and I look back and see this!!!!
