Reflections

I can't believe that in a little less than two weeks, my little angel will be a year old. She is doing new things every single day. I keep telling her to slow down, that she has her whole life to grow up but she just won't listen! This has been a whirlwind year. Our family has been put through the wringer but there has been a constant source of joy for us. It's this little munchkin. She could not have been born at a better time. She has given her Papaw a reason to keep fighting off his cancer. I can't even begin to tell you what she has done for me. Words simply cannot express how much I love my little girl. So, for tonight, I have decided to post some of my favorite pictures of the first month of her life.

This one was taken as I was dressing her to go home from the hospital.
I stayed 32 days in the hospital. I was overjoyed to be bringing a healthy baby home!!!
Our door hanging. Thanks, Angie, you did a great job!
Whew!!! Nana is glad to finally have a granddaughter....and glad that this hospital stay is almost over!
Bella's first vacation. She was three weeks old. This was taken at Laguna Beach, California. We were freezing!!!In Muir Woods with Papaw. He still dotes on her.
Taken on the Skyfari in the San Diego Zoo.
In Yosemite National Park. Yep, my ankles and feet were still swollen. It took awhile to recover from the pregnancy from hell.
At the Grand Canyon....
And finally, crashed on the bed with Papaw in Long Beach, California.
